Mark is one of our incredible TAs at LIVE. He is a college senior from the Philippines, and he brings so much kindness, dedication, and joy into every class he supports. It is these qualities that help our classrooms run smoothly, stay organized, and feel welcome for every student.

Our TA’s are truly the backbone of LIVE, and we wouldn’t be the same without them. Thank you Mark for everything you do 💜

MATH STAR MONDAY! Three years ago, Anshul attended a Math Kangaroo awards ceremony and listened to Prof. Po-Shen Loh speak. At the time, he had never even heard of LIVE.
As Anshul puts it:
“The first year, I didn’t even know what LIVE was, but after the talk, I decided I would apply in high school. The next year, I had just passed the first two stages of the application and had my interview with Prof. Loh in a few weeks. And this year, I’m an instructor.” 🌟

What started as a student sitting in the audience has turned into an incredible journey of growth, leadership, and impact. Today, Anshul is a LIVE Instructor, Competitions Officer for the Eastlake Math Honor Society, Council Member of the Eastlake Computer Science Honor Society, and Lead Designer for a VEX Robotics team that earned a State Design Award and qualified for the World Championship.🥇

He also shared:
“Thank you, Professor Loh, for your awesome talks all 3 years. They really inspired me, and I’m so glad I ran into you because who knows if I would have been inspired to apply for LIVE otherwise!” 💜
