Some children enjoyed playing indoors while others explored outdoors today. Through play, they are learning every step of the way! We spent time discovering hidden items in the octopus 🐙 tentacles, rolling balls outside, and engaging in hands-on activities that encouraged curiosity, movement, and exploration. It was a morning filled with learning, laughter, and lots of play!

Yesterday's visit with RIF mobile, summer begins

We have officially jump-started our summer with the Reading Ready Pittsburgh and Carnegie Library Blue Bag Summer Program! 📚☀️
Each week, every child receives a book to help build their home library, encouraging a love of reading and creating meaningful opportunities for families to read together.
We are also encouraging families to visit their local library and take advantage of the many exciting summer programs available for children, including storytime, music and movement activities, hands-on learning experiences, and so much more.
In addition, we encourage families to visit B is for Books, a free bookstore provided by Reading Ready Pittsburgh, where children can discover and select books to continue growing their personal libraries and fostering a lifelong love of reading.
