Just checking in, y’all.
Have you ever had a season where things weren’t moving quite as fast as you expected?
Maybe you've been working, praying, planning, and waiting... and wondering when everything is finally going to come together.
I've been thinking about that lately.
There are some things in my life that aren't unfolding exactly the way I thought they would. And if I'm honest, I've spent a little time wondering if I should be doing more, pushing harder, or figuring it all out faster.
But the thought that keeps coming back to me is this:
Maybe not every season is a season of producing.
Maybe some seasons are seasons of preparing. 🌱
I've been learning to trust that God is still working, even when I can't see all the results yet.
Maybe He's growing patience.
Maybe He's building confidence.
Maybe He's teaching us to trust Him a little more.
Whatever season you're in today, don't assume nothing is happening just because you can't see it yet.
Keep showing up.
Keep taking the next healthy step.
Keep trusting the process.
God isn't finished yet. 💚

Lately we've been working on the yard and patio, one small project at a time.
First we hung some lights in the trees. Then we realized it was too dark below, so we added landscape lighting. Later we noticed the lights by the little barn weren't working anymore, so we updated those too.
It wasn't some grand plan. It just happened one small project at a time.
My mom always loved flowers, and over the years she learned what grows well here in the Texas heat. I've been trying to learn some of those same lessons myself.
The other evening I was looking outside, and it hit me how all those little efforts had started coming together.
I think healthy living is a lot like that.
Most of the things that improve our lives happen one small step at a time. Drinking more water. Taking a walk. Choosing a little more protein. Spending time in prayer. Getting a little extra rest.
We may not notice much change from day to day, but eventually those small choices add up to something beautiful. 💚
