This year, Watch D.O.G.S. became more than just dads showing up at school. It grew a brotherhood, a community, and it is something these kids will remember forever.

From High Five Fridays to 650+ visits throughout the school year, these dads showed up BIG for Varner.

So let’s be real…who wouldn’t want to be part of the coolest DADS crew in ?!

What a night celebrating 10 YEARS of Varner Watch D.O.G.S. 💙🐾💛🐾💜

A huge thank you to for hosting such an incredible celebration for our dads, families, and supporters. This night was more than we could have ever imagined, and none of it would have been possible without every dad/father figure who showed up, our amazing admin team, teachers, and community supporters.

Last night we had 50+ dads celebrate an amazing accomplishment with over 650+ school visits during the 2025–2026 school year. What started as dads volunteering inside the school turned into something so much bigger, a true brotherhood.

These men come from all different walks of life, but through the program they formed real friendships, built strong connections, and created lifelong memories both inside and outside of the school walls.

The Watch D.O.G.S. program is changing lives for all the right reasons, and are so grateful to be part of something this special.

🐾 Watch D.O.G.S. Spotlight: Kevin Miranda 🐾

Today we’re celebrating one of Varner’s original Watch D.O.G.S….Kevin Miranda!

For the past 9 years, Kevin has been instrumental in helping grow and shape this program into what it is today. From volunteering at events to consistently showing up on campus, Kevin has been a steady and positive presence for our students and staff.

The students love seeing him around the school, and it’s easy to see why! He is a role model, a fun dad, and the definition of what a Watch D.O.G. represents.

Thank you, Kev, for 9 years of support, leadership, and dedication to the Varner community. 🐾💙

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Matt O’Leary! Matt is a true light at Varner and a proud dad to two wonderful girls. He is always willing to lend a helping hand, show up where he’s needed, and bring positive energy into our school.

Matt represents what Watch D.O.G.S. is all about, showing up, serving, and making our school community stronger. Varner Watch D.O.G.S wouldn’t exist without dads like Matt!💙💜💛
