Central Wake High School and Wake Technical Community College continue to build a strong partnership focused on helping students take their next steps toward a successful future.
According to Career Coach, Tamara Rogers, this collaboration is rooted in a shared mission: preparing students for careers, college, and lifelong success.
One shining example is our Culinary Program. Through hands-on learning, students have developed valuable skills including following standardized recipes, accurately measuring ingredients, and delivering exceptional customer service with a smile.
We are proud to partner with Central Wake High School to provide students with real-world experiences that build confidence, career skills, and opportunities for the future.

Congratulations to our Natural Hair Care Specialist graduates!
After close to 400 hours of hands-on training, these students are ready to turn their passion into a profession. From braiding, twisting, wrapping, extending, and locking natural hair to learning client consultations, business management, and professional ethics, they have built the skills needed to succeed in the beauty industry.
Along the way, they practiced their techniques on real clients in the Wake Tech salon, gaining valuable experience and confidence behind the chair.
Next stop: the NC State Board of Cosmetic Art licensing exam! We can't wait to see where their talents take them.
Join us in celebrating this talented group of graduates as they begin their careers in natural hair care!

We’re always focused on creating opportunities for our students — but today was about learning for us, too.
During our Adult Learner Leadership Working Session, our team took time to examine how our systems, processes, and partnerships support adult learners.
It was a day filled with thoughtful conversations, collaboration, and new ideas as we continue working to better serve our community and support student success.
