✨ VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: Hummus Y’all ✨
Let’s give a warm welcome to the team behind Hummus Y’all!
Hummus Y’all is a local family-owned business serving the Raleigh-Durham area, bringing authentic Middle Eastern flavors to markets across the Triangle. Their specialty is hearty hummus bowls served as complete meals, inspired by the hummus restaurants and street food culture of the Middle East. Each bowl starts with a creamy hummus base and is topped with seasoned chickpeas, tangy tahini, caramelized onions, roasted vegetables, sautéed mushrooms, and their house-made green schug, all served with fresh pita bread.
The story of Hummus Y’all began in 2021 during the COVID pandemic when Alon and Olivia started making hummus and selling it to friends and family right out of their garage. What started as a small side project quickly grew through word of mouth and community support. Today, they produce their hummus in a commercial kitchen in Hillsborough and can be found at farmers markets throughout the Triangle.
Their hummus is vegan-friendly, preservative-free, and made with premium ingredients, including unfiltered extra virgin olive oil and high-quality tahini made from pure Ethiopian Humera sesame seeds. Every batch is crafted with a commitment to quality and authentic flavor.
One of Alon and Olivia’s favorite parts of running Hummus Y’all is being part of the farmers market community. They love sharing samples, meeting customers, and introducing folks to authentic hummus while building relationships that have helped their small business grow.
Can’t make it to the market? Hummus Y’all also offers home delivery throughout the Raleigh-Durham area through pre-orders on their website.
🥙 Be sure to stop by and visit Alon and Olivia this Saturday from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM and see what makes Hummus Y’all a favorite around the Triangle!

✨VENDOR SPOTLIGHT: The Sea Depot✨
We are extremely excited to introduce the family behind our newest vendor, The Sea Depot!
“The Sea Depot started by selling local shrimp from the North Carolina coast and grew through the support of loyal customers who have been part of our family’s journey for decades. Our seafood market is in Cary, and we’re excited to expand and connect to new families through the Midtown Farmers Market!
We believe in quality seafood, honest sourcing, and helping customers find exactly what they’re looking for. Along with local favorites, we’re known for sustainably sourcing across fisheries, seasons, species, and geographies to bring customers hard-to-find items, fresh wild catches, specialty shellfish, and unique seasonal offerings.
One thing you’ll find at The Sea Depot is something that is becoming rare: whole fish. We bring in whole fish and prepare them in-house, allowing customers to have their seafood custom cut, filleted, portioned, or steaked just the way they like! We love helping customers learn, explore new species, and discover just how approachable great seafood can be.
We aren’t just selling seafood; we help people become comfortable trying seafood they have never prepared before and provide recipes with uncommon fish. We also offer custom mignonettes, seafood sauces, sashimi-grade selections, and specialty sourcing aiming to be an accessible fish market with a culinary experience!
We view sustainability as supporting responsible fisheries, fishermen, farmers, and harvesters, with a focus on local first but understanding sustainability practices are not exclusionary, especially as it relates to seasonalities and regulations. Most importantly, we’re grateful. Grateful for the customers, fishermen, chefs, farmers, and community members who have supported our family over the years. We look forward to continuing that tradition, sharing our passion for seafood, and serving the community that helped make The Sea Depot what it is today!”
🐠🐟You can find them at the market this Saturday, June 6th, from 8am-12pm!
