The novel is a bilingual coming-of-age story following Marisol, a Dominican-American teenager in Brooklyn who dreams of becoming an astronomer — a story about first-generation ambition, three generations of women, the grief that shapes us, and the courage it takes to reach for a future all your own.

We are so proud to celebrate this incredible milestone with her. Seeing a sister turn years of dedication into a published work is exactly the kind of achievement that makes our bond so special. 💛

Alumnae and FA25-SP26 graduates joined together during Spring Conference to celebrate a major accomplishment... college graduation! Sisters curated their own baseball cap or visor from an assortment of iron-on transfers. Alumnae took time to write words of wisdom for NCA1's upcoming grads, and folks mingled between snacks and photos. We hope everyone enjoyed it and we hope to do this again!
