Today we pause to appreciate the flag that represents the freedoms and opportunities we enjoy as a nation. We are grateful for the men and women who have served and sacrificed to protect those freedoms.

As we honor our nation’s flag, may we also be reminded to live as faithful citizens who reflect Christ’s love, truth, and grace in our communities. (Romans 13:1-11)
