This week, athletes are spending the day sharpening their skills, building confidence and having fun at football camp at the satelite fields with Coach Chavar. From drills to team competitions, every rep brings them one step closer to the season ahead.

Before the school year ended, Ms. Karampelas treated her French 1 class to a French-inspired culinary field trip in 🚌 downtown Raleigh. Students enjoyed crêpes and other sweet treats while exploring the city and putting their French studies into real-world context. Cooper ’32 documented the outing with a camera, capturing memories from a fun and memorable end-of-year adventure.

🎭 Congratulations to Maxwell ’28 on being cast as Professor Plum in the Raleigh Little Theatre production of Clue! 🫆

A familiar face on the St. David’s stage, Maxwell has been involved in numerous theater and choral productions, most recently starring as Horton in Seussical the Musical. We’re excited to see him continue sharing his talents with the wider community.

🏅 Congratulations to Leighton Little on earning a national top-three ranking in the Nike Outdoor Men’s Javelin competition! With a 🥉 national ranking, Leighton is competing in the Championship field alongside some of the nation’s top high school and collegiate athletes.

A standout three-sport student-athlete, Leighton represents St. David’s with excellence in football, basketball, and track & field. We are proud of his hard work, dedication, and achievement on the national stage. Way to go, Leighton! 💙💛

👋 Anyone planning a trip to Yellowstone this summer?

This year’s annual middle school Yellowstone trip served as a living classroom, where lessons in science, history, and environmental stewardship came to life. Through exploration and discovery, students gained a deeper appreciation for the natural world and a greater understanding of the importance of caring for it. 🦬🏞️🦌🌲

🎓 Now that the have walked the stage, we continue to highlight these exceptional students as they begin their next chapter.

Sam Saik will be attending UNC in the fall with an intended major of Media & Journalism. 🖊️

🏀 Over the weekend, our varsity boys basketball team participated in their first ever NCISAA Summer Showcase at Greensboro Day School! Our boys competed with heart, determination and sportsmanship. The team will compete in more games this weekend. Join us in wishing them luck in the games ahead. 👏👏

We are so proud of the effort our student-athletes are showing on and off the court in the off season and we look forward to seeing each team compete in the 2026-27 school year. 💪 Go Warriors!
