Lincoln Elementary School PTA

Lincoln families, please join us in welcoming Garry Gregory as the new Principal of Lincoln Elementary! Mr. Gregory officially begins July 1, but he will start connecting with Lincoln staff and families in the coming weeks to help make a smooth transition.

A few things to know about Mr. Gregory:

He brings 29 years of experience in education, including 22 years in school administration.

He most recently served as Assistant Principal at Washington Elementary School here in RBUSD, where he built strong relationships with students, staff, and families.

Before joining RBUSD, he served in Inglewood Unified School District as a teacher, assistant principal, and principal.

He spent 19 years as an elementary principal, leading three different schools.

He has experience supporting special education, building positive school culture, and implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports, also known as PBIS.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from CSU Northridge.

He is a Southern California native, longtime South Bay resident, and lives here with his wife and three children.

Mr. Gregory shared that he is excited to listen, learn, attend school events, visit classrooms, and become an active part of the Lincoln community. He is passionate about creating a school where every student feels safe, supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

A huge thank you to this year’s Promotion Lead, Christie Komula, for her vision, dedication, and countless hours of work in creating such a memorable celebration for our students and families. We are incredibly grateful for your leadership and all you did to make this year’s promotion a success.

We would also like to thank our amazing 4th-grade families and volunteers for continuing the tradition of paying it forward and helping make this event so special. Your generosity, time, and support made a meaningful difference.

Please attend the Community Meeting being held at Lincoln on Wednesday, June 10th at 6pm. It’s important that the City Council and RBUSD leadership hears directly from our community about our wants and needs with our crossing guards.

LITERATI BOOK FAIR IS HERE! (Week of 6/1 - 6/5)

Get ready to turn the page into summer! The PTA is pleased to bring the Lincoln community our first ever Literati Book Fair! Join us for a fun week filled with "Treasured Tales" for every reader. Students will have the opportunity to browse and shop during class visits scheduled throughout the week of Monday, June 1st to Friday, June 5th. Note that TK and Kinder will not be shopping during their class visits, but we invite guest readers to participate during their class visit. We will have special shopping hours for families all week long!
