We are so proud of Owen Hallett for his acceptance into Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine in Utah! A former student leader who was instrumental in the groundbreaking movements that lead towards the establishment of the Pre-Health Advisory Council, Owen was a great mentor and collaborator who espoused the values of teamwork, dedication and persistence.
Here in his own words are his personal words of encouragement:
Hi Everyone,
I am originally from Henderson, Nevada, and graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2022 with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. In the years following graduation, I focused on strengthening both my clinical experience and my commitment to pursuing a career in medicine. During this time, I had the opportunity to shadow physicians, work as a medical assistant, and contribute to multiple research projects. I also got married, and through these personal and professional experiences, I further solidified my passion and purpose for becoming a physician.
I now live in Salt Lake City, Utah, and I am excited to begin my medical education at Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine in Provo, Utah this July!
Congratulations, Owen! We are
