These are the most common questions we get asked by parents who are looking to enroll their kids in jiu-jitsu. Keep in mind, this is not how things are universally done, but it’s how we do things here at Renzo Gracie Reno in order to optimize our kids program and make things easy on parents.

Open Mat is the perfect time to work on something specific and improve your game. If you post a video of what you’re working on, tag the academy (or post in the private FB group).

Why do you train? Some people train for the community and the exercise, some want to be world class competitors, and other people do it for the confidence and ability to defend themselves or someone else. These aren’t the only reasons. Knowing yours can help you stay on track and keep your promises to yourself. ▪️
