A weekend thought.
We celebrate fresh starts in January like they are the only door into a better money story. They are not. June is a door. Monday is a door. This afternoon is a door.
You are allowed to begin again whenever you decide to, no clean slate or perfect circumstances required.

And now the honest other side. This ceiling has been "almost done" for a while now.
We cash flow our home projects, meaning we do them as the extra money shows up instead of financing them. It is the right call for us. It also means I sit here some days wishing the thing would just finish itself. My patience is not always as strong as my plan, and that is real life.
Progress over perfection. Both things get to be true at once.

Yesterday I told you about one of my real money wins this year. Here it is, paid off and good for years to come.
People assume a financial coach has no debt and never uses credit. I am human. If a money tool exists, I have probably tried it. The difference is not avoiding the tools, it is using them on purpose. This furniture was a zero percent offer, and the whole trick with those is that you actually have to pay it off inside the window. We did.

My tomatoes are still green. Not ready yet, and that is completely okay. They will come in when they come in.
We are right at the halfway point of the year, and I think the same grace applies to our money. You do not have to have it all figured out by now. You just have to be willing to take an honest look at where you are.
