Starting on June 29th, our returning scholars will be kicking off summer programming filled with enrichment, academic support, and opportunities to stay engaged throughout the break.

From hands-on learning to building confidence in reading and math, summer at JJMS helps scholars stay connected and continue growing.

This summer, we’re challenging our scholars to keep their curiosity growing with our JJMS Summer Reading Bingo Challenge. 📚

From reading outside to discovering a new favorite book, every square is an opportunity to explore, imagine, and build strong reading habits all summer long.

At JJMS, we believe learning doesn’t stop when the school year ends. Small moments of reading today help build confidence, creativity, and success for tomorrow.

Save this post, complete as many squares as you can, and enjoy a summer filled with stories and discovery. 💙

REMINDER: Our last day of school tomorrow, Friday, June 12, 2026 is an Early Dismissal Day. 6th grade will be dismissed at 12 pm, and grades 7 and 8 (and Section 91) will be dismissed at 12:15 pm. There will be no after school program on this day and no supervision after 12:30 pm, so please plan accordingly.

RECORDATORIO: Nuestro último día de clases, mañana viernes 12 de junio de 2026, será un día de salida temprana. Los estudiantes de 6º grado saldrán a las 12:00 pm, y los de 7º y 8º grado (y Sección 91) saldrán a las 12:15 pm. Keep doing your best on your final exams this week! Scholars who have no NCs and no referrals will get to celebrate at this Friday's Sea You Next Year Festival!
