This week, administrative staff and leaders from the Children's Developmental Center attended the Central Washington Nonprofit Network's Conference for the Greater Good! We were joined by fellow nonprofits, philanthropy, and others at Heritage University in Toppen*sh, Washington. Our team had a great time learning about embracing confidence in the workplace, and we all left with a renewed sense of motivation and inspiration! We each joined workshops about influence, community, people & culture, systems, and leadership.

During Sensory Friendly Hours, lighting and sound levels are adjusted to help create a calmer museum experience for visitors who may benefit from reduced sensory stimulation.

The Children's Developmental Center is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to join our team and help us keep doing what we do best: supporting children and families in our community.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves the details of nonprofit finance. Some of the responsibilities include month-end close, audit prep, grant accounting, GAAP and HIPAA compliance, and partnering with our Executive Director on financial strategy.

What we are looking for:
✔️ Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
✔️ 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
✔️ Strong GAAP knowledge; nonprofit and grant accounting experience preferred
✔️ CPA or CMA a plus

The details:
In Richland, On-site, Monday–Friday
$34.62–$42.31/hour ($72,000–$88,000 annualized), non-exempt
Mission-driven team doing meaningful work
