Get ready for Henrico's Juneteenth Celebration this Saturday at Dorey Park, 2999 Darbytown Road. From 4-10 p.m., the free event will offer family fun and entertainment and will honor the evolution of Black culture since emancipation through an immersive experience of music, art and community.

The festivities will be capped with a performance by Art of Noise RVA at 8 p.m. and a fireworks finale at 9:45 p.m.

“Henrico County’s celebration of Juneteenth has gotten bigger and better each year since it started in 2021 – and this year figures to be no different,” Varina Supervisor Tyrone Nelson said. “Juneteenth offers us another opportunity to come together as a community to reflect on our freedoms and celebrate how they are extended to us all.”
