Did you see any familiar faces at the Black and White Days parade? It’s been a great week to be a White Pine Eagle! 🦅 📚

Another amazing White Pine teacher we will be saying goodbye to this fall is 6th grade teacher Ms. Clark, as she heads to North Cache Middle School to teach 6th grade math. 💙🦅
Ms. Clark has spent 18 years in education, including 6 years teaching PE at Summit Elementary and 12 years teaching elementary education at Park and White Pine. During her time at White Pine, she has become such a loved part of our school family.
When asked what she will miss most about White Pine, she shared:
“The family feeling which includes the teachers/staff, students, parents and community!”
Some of her favorite memories include jump rope and teacher dance assemblies, Black and White Days parades with staff, helping play pranks on the principal, and especially the hugs from students of every grade. ❤️
“This school has been my home for a long time!! I’m sad to leave but excited for a new adventure! White Pine will always have a special place in my heart!!! But I can’t wait to welcome White Pine students as they come through North Cache on their educational journey!!”
Thank you, Ms. Clark, for the love, energy, laughter, and dedication you have given to White Pine over the years. You will be greatly missed, and we know your students at North Cache will be so lucky to have you! 📕 💙🦅

Another amazing teacher we will be saying goodbye to this year is Ms.Pearce. ❤️
After 9 years of teaching at Summit Elementary and White Pine, including the last 6 years at White Pine, she will be heading to the new Juniper Ridge Middle School this fall to teach 6th and 7th grade social studies.
Ms. Pearce shared that one of the things she’ll miss most is the incredible Richmond community and the way families support teachers and one another. She said seeing families helping families has truly touched her heart.
Some of her favorite White Pine memories include the famous jump rope assembly, the energy and talent of our students, and discovering that the “just for fun” teacher dance practice in the gym was actually preparing for a performance the next day. 😂
Thank you, Ms. Pearce, for the love, kindness, and dedication you have given to White Pine. There really is something special here, and you’ve been a huge part of it. 🦅❤️

With the school year coming to an end, we want to recognize some amazing teachers who won’t be returning to White Pine next year. 💙🦅
Fifth grade teacher Mr. Hoffman will be heading to North Cache Middle School to teach 6th grade math!
Mr. Hoffman has dedicated 24 years to teaching, including:
• Geneva Elementary – 4 years
• Summit Elementary – 4 years
• Birch Creek Elementary – 7 years
• White Pine Elementary – 9 years

When asked what he’ll miss most about White Pine, he said the teachers, principal, and staff. As for the students… thankfully he won’t have to miss them too much, since he’ll be moving right along with them to North Cache next year! 😊

Thank you, Mr. Hoffman, for your years of dedication, leadership, and impact on so many students. White Pine is lucky to have been part of your journey! 🍎

I don’t know where to even start with my kiddos teachers 🩵

Mrs Burningham has been both Izzy and Jaces kindergarten teacher and has made such a huge impact on both of them. She has made both my kids feel seen, safe and loved. And my Jace loves school now! It used to be a fight to get him there and now he wants to be there to see his teacher and tell her stories or bring her suprises. (And when I say surprises I’ve see a few in his backpack that I’ve had to take out 🐛 🐞)

Mrs Jensen has been amazing with Miss Izzy this year! She went into the school year not knowing she was getting a Type 1 Diabetic (found out the first day) and she ran with it. She has been so loving to Izzy and comforts her when needed. She even takes her time to stay after school with her to tutor her in math. And we have seen a huge difference with Izzy’s math skills. 🧮 Izzy absolutely loves school and a huge part of that is Mrs. Jenson 🩵

These wonderful posts in gratitude are amazing and we love sharing them with, “Teacher Appreciation Week” coming up. This one is extra special as it comes from a teacher herself. 🥹🦅

Has your child had a White Pine Elementary School teacher who made a lasting impact on their life? With Teacher Appreciation Week coming up next week, we’d love to celebrate the incredible educators in our school community!
Social media is a powerful way to recognize these amazing teachers. Send us a photo along with a short message about what your student (and you!) loved most about their teacher. We’ll feature them on the White Pine page to help show just how appreciated they are 💙
🦅
2nd Grade, Mrs. Jenson is so loved by her students! She is kind, patient, and makes every child feel truly special. It’s extra fun when siblings get to have her as their teacher too. She leaves a lasting impression on every student she teaches.
