We at WoMen of Connections Ministry, are having a fundraiser for our NICU Esther Basket Project taking place in March. The project consists of distributing baskets containing health and wellness items such as blankets, diapers, wipes, and educational toys to families with infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Last year, we distributed 104 baskets across 9 hospitals in Central Virginia. This year, we aim to distribute around 324 baskets across 15 hospitals in Central Virginia.
We hope to raise $8,000. The cash donations will be used to purchase baby blankets, baby towels, baby washcloths, baby wash, baby wipes, baby diapers, baby lotion, toys, diaper creams, baby hats, and other essentials as well as goody bags for the mothers and nurses.
