This week's is to help students with disabilities imagine new possibilities by showing them real examples of young people in Virginia who have succeeded after high school. Here’s a way to do it:

🔘 Pick a Spotlight Virginians Story: Choose a video that highlights a student’s journey into independent living from CTI’s YouTube channel.

🔘 Watch Together: Share the story with your students, pausing to explain key moments as needed.

🔘 Talk About What Stands Out: Ask simple questions like, “What do you think this student did well?” or “What step did they take that you might like to try?”

🔘 Connect It to Their Own Goals: Encourage your student to identify one takeaway they can apply to their own path, such as practicing an interview skill, exploring a career interest, or taking on a new responsibility at home.
