Today, we gathered to honor the legacy of George Wythe High School—a place that has shaped generations of students, families, and educators.
As we prepare to say goodbye to the building that has stood as a cornerstone of South Richmond for decades, we reflected on the memories, achievements, and connections that made George Wythe so much more than brick and mortar. We were honored to hear from alumni whose lives were shaped within these halls, as well as from the newly appointed principal of Richmond High School for the Arts, George Wythe alumna Monica Glass, whose journey is a testament to the school's lasting impact.
While this chapter comes to a close, its legacy will live on. Once a Bulldog, forever a Bulldog. ❤️💙

Some walks mean a little more...
🎓 Former Mary Munford Elementary students walked the halls of their elementary school one last time—this time as graduating seniors.
The same hallways that once helped shape them now get to celebrate who they’ve become. Teachers cheered, little students looked on in awe, and the graduates got to catch up with their former classmates.
No matter where life takes them next, they will always be part of the RPS family. 💙🧡💚

Saturday’s Student Celebration was a beautiful reminder of what’s possible when brilliance is nurtured, encouraged, and allowed to bloom. 🌸
With this year’s theme, Blooming with Brilliance, we proudly honored our Valedictorians, Salutatorians, Maggie Walker scholars, and Scholastic Standout honorees from grades PK–12—students whose hard work, leadership, creativity, and perseverance continue to inspire our entire RPS community. ✨
Congratulations to each of our honorees, and enormous gratitude to their families, teachers, and special friends who pour into them each and every day. Your future is bright, and we can’t wait to see all that continues to bloom. 💙🧡💚
