Reinhardt Elementary Music

Bravo to our 4th Grade musicians, visual artists, and recording artists on their performance of “The Noisy Paintbox.” 🎶🎨

In preparation for this performance, students learned about prominent artists and their artwork from various historical time periods. They also studied music and composers from the same time periods. They were able to create art-works inspired by Monet, Van Gogh, DaVinci, and Picasso. They then composed/arranged musical pieces that were recorded in our new WRKT recording studio. These recordings were displayed by QR code with their artwork for an immersive art show.

They also performed a musical inspired by the life and work of Russian artist, Wassily Kandinsky. Thank you to the Rockwall ISD Education Foundation for funding our grant, “Melody Meets Masterpiece.”

So proud of our Reinhardt Choir and their performance of the National Anthem at the Frisco RoughRiders game. What a fun evening with these talented Rockets! 🚀⚾️🎶
