To help address the growing need for skilled construction professionals, TSTC's Fort Bend County campus will launch its new Building Construction program this fall at the Fort Bend County campus. Students will gain real-world experience through hands-on training and earn industry certifications that can lead to careers in the skilled trades, field supervision and construction management.

TSTC will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth. We will return to normal operating hours Monday, June 22.

TSTC's Fort Bend County campus hosted a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Awards Ceremony produced by We Go Public, TSPRA and presented by Stantec. The event celebrated outstanding talent with several students earning Top 10 finalist honors and scholarships for their exceptional work and hands-on skills.

The ceremony highlighted the power of career and technical education in preparing the next generation of industry professionals. Special thanks to Stantec, Bartlett Cocke, Indeco Inc., Dally + Associates, DBR, and Procedeo for their commitment to supporting students and strengthening the future workforce.

🚘 ⚡🔩 Hands-on learning is where the excitement happens at TSTC’s Fort Bend County campus! From shaping metal and programming advanced systems to restoring vehicles and powering modern technology, our students are building real-world skills every day in the Auto Collision, Electrical Power and Controls, Precision Machining, and Robotics and Industrial Controls programs.

👩‍🏭 Meet Melody Ramos, a Welding student working toward a certificate of completion at TSTC’s Fort Bend County campus. With an open mind and a strong commitment to the trade, Ramos embraces every opportunity to learn in the lab. Inspired by the experiences and advice shared by fellow students and the program's instructors, she is motivated to put in the hard work needed to succeed. Her goal is to pursue underwater welding and continue expanding her skills in this specialized field.

☀️🎉 The Texas summer heat has us thinking back to the great memories made at Techsan Day in March! From fun-filled games to students taking a spin on the mechanical bull, the day was packed with excitement, campus spirit and plenty of sunshine. We can't wait to do it again!
