Are you headed out on a road trip this summer? Time in the car can be more than just getting from one destination to another. It can be a great opportunity to make music part of your family's summer fun and create memories that last for years to come! Kristen Van D**e, music therapist and instructor, as well as Office Manager of our Charlotte Metro Music Makers location, came up with a fun list of musical games for families to play in the car this summer. We’d love to know—where are you going this summer, and which of these games do you plan to play?

"For years, I used to cry when students graduated.
"Not every time, of course. But often enough that the people around me would gently tease me about it."

Summer is a wonderful time to slow down, make memories, and try new things. While we hope our students continue growing musically through lessons and practice, music doesn't have to stay confined to lesson time. Music can be part of family road tripSummer bucket list.pngs, backyard cookouts, dance parties, and everyday moments.
Kristen Van D**e, music therapist and instructor, as well as Office Manager of our Charlotte Metro Music Makers location, created a Summer Music Bucket List to help families enjoy music together. See how many you can check off before the first day of school!
