OUR VISION IS our communities will value, include and support everyone, including people with disabilities, and will assist in meeting the changing needs and desires of each person. The community has an obligation to support all of its members. The beauty and strength of a community grows out of its diversity.

Russell Lehmann
This charismatic activist and motivational speaker is an acclaimed author and poet on autism, mental health, and disability.
He is the International Disability Rights Advocate at UCLA’s Tarjan Center for Disabilities in Los Angeles.
Russell has become a beacon of inspiration. He shares his intense and painful personal journey of being diagnosed with autism at age 12 … after 5 weeks in a lockdown psychiatric ward for phobias and severe obsessive-compulsive disorder.
His powerful message of self-advocacy and acceptance has had a positive and life-changing impact on many. His advocacy and activism regularly help increase understanding and support for individuals with disabilities.
