CBL Training and Consulting
CBL Training and Consulting (CBLTAC)... Beyond body language.
CBL Training and Consulting (CBLTAC) provides expert training in de-escalation, communication, body language, situational awareness, safety, and other important topics; for professionals in public safety, government, and private sectors. Our courses are designed to enhance safety, improve decision-making, and build confidence in high-pressure environments.
A simple strip of velcro made for managing computer cords. Will keep your quick release buckle from being popped behind your back and your bag getting stolen.
For those who say that now the bag is stuck to me and I could get drug around, my argument is that they want my bag and not me and I doubt they're going to drag me around plus if they do... Then it's going to be a fun day for me! 💥
When you travel, don't create a yard sale in your room! Keep everything in one spot. That way, you know right where your belongings are and there won't be anything to try to keep track of when you leave, especially in an emergency.
Even in the bathroom. Keep your stuff in one square foot. 💥
Preserve your privacy with a quick tip: TP
When you arrive at a hotel you're probably going to be tired and in the middle of the night. You could also get disoriented. When something happens you need to know how to get out and there's a really easy way to do it:
Just open your door. Look left, look right and say it out loud. The act of saying out loud is what locks it in so that when something happens you know I need to go to the left or I need to go to the right!
That's it. Super simple!
Interesting!!! 💥

Nobody Talks About How Overstimulation Can Make Us Mean
We talk about anger. We talk about stress. We talk about anxiety.
But we rarely talk about overstimulation—that point where your brain has simply had enough.
Too much noise. Too many demands. Too many decisions. Too many interruptions. Too many people wanting something from you all at once.
And suddenly your patience disappears.
You become short. Irritable. Defensive. Cold. Maybe even hurtful.
Here's the important part:
Overstimulation explains behavior. It doesn't excuse it.
The goal isn't to justify it—it's to recognize it before it hurts the people we care about.
The antidote:
✅ Learn your early warning signs before you reach your breaking point.
✅ Take a tactical pause. It's better to say, "I need 10 minutes," than say something you'll regret.
✅ Reduce the incoming noise. Step outside. Silence your phone. Turn off the TV. Find a quieter space.
✅ Regulate your body first. Slow your breathing, drink some water, or take a brief walk. A calm body helps create a calm mind.
✅ Name what you're experiencing instead of projecting it onto someone else: "I'm feeling overwhelmed right now."
✅ If you cross the line, own it. Don't blame the stress. Apologize sincerely and make it right.
✅ Build recovery into your life instead of waiting until you're running on empty.
The strongest people aren't the ones who never get overwhelmed...
They're the ones who recognize it early enough to prevent it from becoming someone else's problem.
🚨 "Hi, this is the Fraud Department..." 🚨
If you get a call claiming to be from your bank:
1. ❌ Don't trust the caller ID. It can be spoofed.
2. ❌ Don't give out your PIN, password, one-time code, or full account number.
3. ❌ Don't click links they text or email you while you're on the phone.
4. ❌ Don't let them pressure you with "act now" tactics.
5. 📞 Hang up immediately.
6. 🔍 Find your bank's official phone number on the back of your debit/credit card or on the bank's official website.
7. ☎️ Call the bank yourself using that official number.
8. ✅ Ask if there is actually suspicious activity on your account.
9. 🔒 If in doubt, lock your card and change your online banking password.
10. 👮 Report the scam to your bank and, if appropriate, your local law enforcement or the relevant fraud reporting agency.
Remember: A legitimate bank may contact you about suspicious activity, but they should never object if you hang up and call them back using the official number.
CBL Training & Consulting Tip:
Never trust the incoming call. Verify independently. Hang up. Look up. Call back. That simple habit can save you thousands of dollars.
