Join Sacramento Black Child Development Institute - BCDI and Natomas Black Parents United as we kick off the Early Start Family Academy. There will be activities for toddlers through school age children as well as culturally responsive singing, reading and free books. Come to North Natomas Regional Park on Friday, June 12th from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Join Black Parallel School Board (BPSB) at the SCUSD Board Meeting on June 4, 2026, at 6 PM at the Serna Center, 5735 47th Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95824.
Speak up during “Public Comment” on the District’s Budget, Homeless Services, Foster Youth Services, Ethnic Studies, African American Curriculum and Studies, the Solvency Plan, and support for Black Students and other students from marginalized communities.

This week, parents, caregivers, educators, advocates, and community members showed up - sharing content, taking action, and centering what Black children deserve. From our Village Network to the Dream Forward • Act Now Digital Advocacy Hub, you were part of something real.
