A message from Mrs. Kappeler for some 4th and 5th grade families: I will be checking student devices over the next month. You may receive an email that your student's device was checked-in, "in poor condition." This means the battery or hard drive was obsolete, and they will be issued an updated model.
It doesn't mean your student returned it in "poor" condition.
We try and keep a keen eye on all our laptops, updating whenever possible. Keep enjoying your summer!

Westgate teachers attended a week long training by The Dr. Harold Albers Teacher Ecology Camp and St. Petersburg Audubon. They learned about nature and how to bring it into their classrooms. They also practiced their woodworking skills, building nesting boxes for screech owls.

What an amazing day celebrating all of our graduates together! It was so special seeing our Wildcats come together from so many different high schools. We had a wonderful time celebrating our 5th graders along with all of our graduating seniors. Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!

For the second year in a row, students from Westgate had their writing selected for the Cross Creek Chronicle. Very proud of these two students from Mrs. Bauer's class!
