“Hi I’m Amelia! I’m going into my junior year of college studying biology on the pre-medical track. I chose Alpha Chi because I immediately felt at home and supported by girls who genuinely care about me. As VP Facility Operations I strive to make sure every girl feels safe and at home both inside and outside of the chapter house. I also get the opportunity to live with 23 other girls who I make sure feel safe, seen and heard in their own home. AXO has brought so many amazing opportunities to me and I’m so grateful I get a chance to help the chapter thrive!”

While transferring can feel a little scary, especially when you’ve already grown roots and made amazing connections where you are, I’ve learned that the college you start at doesn’t have to be the one you end at. Everyone’s journey looks a little different, and that is completely okay! If you are thinking about transferring, just know there are so many supportive people ready to help answer your questions. Change can be hard, but it is also so worth it, and I am so incredibly excited for this next chapter as a Ute! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!”

“Hi!! My name is Lucy Foulks, I am going into my senior year studying Biochemistry and Ceramics on the pre-medical track. I work as a medical assistant and in an organic chemistry research lab. I chose Alpha Chi because I felt empowered to dedicate myself to service and academic excellence. I found women who showed me true friendship and who have pushed me to be my best self in all my endeavors. Serving as VP Intellectual Development, I have the privilege of supporting my sisters in our academic pursuits, and fosting a community where we celebrate our journeys as college students above all else. Through our mentorship program, I have been able to help create connections between alumni and collegiate members to build more intellectual empowerment between generations of Alpha Chis, which I am so excited to continue on!!“
