The current 26-27 VPCCA has vacated their position. In accordance with Article V, Section B. of the SLCCSA Bylaws, this vacancy will be addressed through the appointment process which will be publicly posted, and the application will remain open for 10 business days, beginning Thursday, June 18, 2026. This will ensure awareness of the opportunity and inform students that the role will be filled through an interview and appointment process. The Thayne Center and Bruin Paws Lounge will be closed on Thursday, June 4th! Don’t worry we will be back in action at the Taylorsville Redwood campus Friday, June 5th and at the South City campus on Monday, June 8th for regular business hours! See you then!

Effectively immediately, the TRWD campus will be closed today, Thursday, May 21.

Setting sail toward the future of SLCC! All aboard!

Each semester, SLCC students can attend the Student Forum with college leaders. During the forum, students ask questions and offer input to improve the college. In Spring, the event includes the “Truth in Tuition” presentation, during which students can learn about the tuition rate for the forthcoming school year and the student fees process.

National Voter Education Week is right around the corner!

NVEW is a national, non-partisan voter education campaign held every October.

will be celebrating with stops at the Jordan, Redwood, and South City campuses to help students register to vote, make a plan, and understand their ballot. We will have support for community partners and .utah to celebrate democracy and get out the vote!
