(CDSsa) Community Design Studio San Antonio

This has been a local favorite live conjunto music venue since 1942...located at 1612 N. Zarzamora...Currently closed and in the process of restoration of this Historic National Register Landmark.

RAICES is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) organization that promotes justice by providing free and low-cost immigration legal services and education to under-served immigrant children, families and refugees in Central and South Texas.

This coming Friday, May 25th at 8:30 am, we will meet at the Foundry to discuss potential projects for our team. There is an ongoing need to assist Lerma's Nite Club in their efforts to save and rehabilite their existing building. Susana Segura, who has been instrumental in this effort, has identified a number of things that the Esperanza Center (the current owner) will need help with to see that this building continues to serve San Antonio's West side. Additionally, we will discuss possibly participating in TPR's "Re-imagine Your Neighborhood" competition. This could be a fun design opportunity.
