Congratulations to Ahana Kuppadakath!

The American Natya Idol regional competitions were held in 18 cities across the United States, bringing together talented young dancers from across the country. Winners from these regional competitions advanced to the National Finals in St. Louis.

We are delighted to share that Kalalaya student Ahana Kuppadakath earned 5th Place (Honorable Mention) in the Intermediate Category at the National American Natya Idol Competition, held in St. Louis on June 14, 2026. The Intermediate Category featured 48 competitors from across the nation, making this an outstanding accomplishment.

Congratulations to Divyasri Thanigachalam!

The American Natya Idol regional competitions, conducted in 18 cities across the United States, showcased some of the country’s most promising young dancers. Winners from each regional competition earned the opportunity to compete at the National Finals in St. Louis.

We are thrilled to announce that Kalalaya student Divyasri Thanigachalam was awarded 2nd Place in the Junior Category at the National American Natya Idol Competition held on June 14, 2026, in St. Louis. Competing against 52 dancers from across the nation, Divyasri’s outstanding performance, commitment, and artistry earned her a place among the top competitors in her division.
