Quirk receives an average of 150 submissions each year, of which a little over half are visual arts. Each submission is discussed in class and voted on.
Quirk is a literary and visual arts journal sponsored by the English Department of the University of the Incarnate Word and published each spring semester by the students in ENGL 3365 - Editing and Publishing. Quirk is the English department's journal of literature and the arts at UIW, and it is produced once a year in the Spring semester by the ENGL 3365 class, "Editing and Publishing." The stude

Calling all UIW students, faculty, staff, and alumni! The 2019 edition of Quirk is now accepting submissions through February 7th!
Quirk 2016 is almost done! Be sure to mark April 26th in your calendars! We're having a release party with readings, food, a raffle, and copies of the edition to purchase for $10!
