Meet Laura. 🌈
This Pride Month, we're honored to introduce Laura, a Clinical Social Work Intern offering affirming, identity-centered therapy rooted in culture, justice, and community.
Laura provides a safe space for LGBTQIA+ individuals, Brown & Black women, and the Hispanic/Latinx community — culturally grounded support for navigating identity, healing, and the journey toward wholeness. And for Brown & Black women, this care is offered at no cost. 💛
Pride isn't just a month for us — it's a commitment. Everyone deserves to be seen, affirmed, and supported exactly as they are.
📍 Eligible clients must be 18+, part of (or close to) the LGBTQ+ community, and currently residing in Texas. Telehealth and in-person care available.

When was the last time you truly rested? 🌊
This June 10, we're gathering virtually for a Restorative Circle on Wellness & Burnout — because pouring from an empty cup isn't sustainable, and you don't have to figure it out alone.

For a kid in our community, one closed door can change everything. A camp they can’t afford. A tutoring session that’s just out of reach. A program that fills up before they get the chance.
At Empower House, our job is to make sure access is never the thing that holds a young person back.
In 2025, we served 308 young people through Empower Youth — and reached 426 across all our programs. We delivered 153 tutoring sessions, sent 44 kids to camp, and put $4,784 in direct aid directly toward removing the barriers standing between a young person and their potential.
Today we’re launching Access Means Everything — a campaign built on a simple belief: every kid deserves the chance to dream bigger and reach further, no matter what door is in front of them.
Come see what access can do
