Being a mom is the single most important job I’ve ever had/will ever have. I love my kids with all my heart! I will work every single day of my life to be the best mom I can be to them. Luckily I was blessed with an amazing mom and mother-in-law who set great examples for me.

Happy Mother’s Day! I am incredibly grateful for all of the women in my life that have helped me along this motherhood path. 💗

Have you heard of the new show No Demo Reno on HGTV starring The Rambling Redhead I am currently watching it on Discovery Plus but the first episode will air on HGTV tonight. 😁 You NEED to watch it! It is great! 👏 It got me thinking about the recent kids bathroom update we did. No demo done in the bathroom, just a good old fashion DIY with some paint, fixture updates, and sweat equity. Now two of our three bathrooms have been updated... just need to conquer the master bath.

Where were you when the world shut down a year ago? These are the last pictures we took on 3/13/20 before everyone went into quarantine.

We had spent a week with friends in Tyler, TX for spring break. We stopped at the Magnolia Silos on the way home in hopes of enjoying the last day of our trip. Some parts of that day felt normal and some felt uneasy or different.

We knew that schools were being closed for at least two weeks. We heard most stores were out of water and tp, and businesses were closing. However we really did not know what the days/weeks/months ahead held for us. It is so surreal now looking back.

Have you jumped on the pantry organization trend? I decided it was time to give it a try. I wish I had taken before pictures.

I love the look of more expensive storage containers but not the price SO I opted for baskets and bins instead. I purchased 25 white baskets and 5 blue chevron large bins for a total cost of $50 for my pantry makeover. Not only does it look less chaotic in my pantry, it also freed up so much space. I’m excited to go in my pantry now!

I have to know did you do something today that made you happy?

I try to write ten gratitudes down every day. Ten things that filled me with joy. Sometimes big and sometimes small, but every single thing made me happy!
