Stay And Play Care Home

We may be stepping into June, but we couldn’t move forward without sharing a look back at all the incredible fun we had in May! From kicking off the early taste of summer to splashing around and loving every minute of our outdoor water play, our little ones made the absolute best memories.

​Thank you to our amazing families for a wonderful month. Now, we are ready to dive into June and all the exciting summer adventures ahead!

Despite the weather not cooperating this morning, we had an excellent time together. A huge thank you to all the moms who joined us! The food was delicious, and the kids and I truly enjoyed every minute of it.
​The children worked so incredibly hard on this event and stayed dedicated until the very end. I am so proud of their effort and so appreciative of the wonderful families we have here.

What an incredible week of growth and discovery at Stay and Play Care Home! 🌟

​We started our week focusing on friendship and social skills. Using our puppet friends, the children practiced "playing friendly" and learning the importance of sharing with one another. It’s so heart-warming to see them communicate and cooperate! 🤝🧸

​Tuesday was all about creativity at our Play-Doh station, where little hands were busy rolling, squishing, and building fine motor skills. 🎨

​Wednesday ended with a "Sensory Science" bang! 🧪🧼 The kids dove head-first into exploring textures with fluffy shaving cream and vibrant colors. There is nothing like hands-on learning to spark a child's curiosity!

What a blooming wonderful day at Stay and Play Care Home! 🌸🌼
​Our little learners had an incredible time participating in our Flower Float Parade. Beyond the smiles and sunshine, today was a fantastic opportunity for outdoor learning and gross motor development as the children proudly navigated the parade route with their creations.
​At Stay and Play Care Home, we believe that purposeful play is the best way to grow. Seeing them enjoy the fresh air while building confidence and community spirit makes my heart so full!

​What an unforgettable "Community Workers" day we had! A massive thank-you to the officers from the San Antonio Police Department for visiting us today.
​We want to give a huge, special thank-you to one of our very own Stay and Play Care Home parents who is a police officer! He made this entire day possible for the children, and we are so proud to have him in our school family.

​The highlights of our day:

​Bilingual Performance: Our little stars performed their special songs in both English and Spanish! They were so excited to show the officers what they’ve been learning. 🎶🎤

​Police Car Tour: The children loved seeing the view from inside a real patrol car!

​The Mascot: We had a blast meeting the police mascot! 🐾

​Special Gifts: Every child went home with a bag of goodies! Thank you for the pencils, stickers, coloring books, and the toy police cars. The kids haven't stopped smiling! 🎁

​Thank you to the SAPD for keeping our community safe and for taking the time to inspire our future generation. It is days like today that make our bilingual program so special!
