Latinos’ Views of and Experiences With the Spanish Language Most U.S. Latinos speak Spanish, and about half of U.S. Latinos who do not speak Spanish have been shamed by other Latinos for it.

We are proud to celebrate the #HispanicHeritageMonth with #bilingualbooks and stories that authentically portray themes, languages, characters and customs of our #culture in the United States. ¡Celebra con nosotros el #MesdelaHerenciaHispana!

Today is the first day of Hispanic Heritage Month! The 2023 theme for Hispanic Heritage Month is: “Latinos: Driving Prosperity, Power, and Progress in America.”
We will display books from September 15th- October 15th by Hispanic authors and research about Hispanic Heritage. Come by and check it out! We will also have interactive activities such as crosswords and bookmark coloring.
