Cesar Chavez was a champion for civil rights, co-founding the United Farm Workers with Dolores Huerta. He fought for the rights of farm workers, Mexican-Americans, and Chicanos. Attend the march to continue to honor Chavez’s legacy! Si se puede!!!

Join MASSO and come help your community this holiday season with volunteering in this years’ Thanksgiving in the Barrio. This two day event will provide community members with Thanksgiving meals.

We made more mini ofrendas this week! It was amazing to see the ofrenda set up by SHL in the SPN 1014 class at the Main Campus. Go check out their ofrenda at McKinney and MASSO’s ofrenda in the REGSS office downtown in the Durango building.

So excited to announce that we have had our first two MASSO meetings for the 2024 Fall Semester at UTSA. Today we started to make our own ofrendas to honor loved ones who have passed. Next week we’ll be at the Downtown Campus setting up a community ofrenda. Hope to see y’all there!
