We are excited to have officially onboarded this year's summer student interns at East Valley Water District (EVWD)!

These talented students are beginning a valuable hands-on learning experience with an organization that plays a critical role in serving its community. East Valley Water District provides water and wastewater services to more than 108,000 residents throughout Highland and portions of San Bernardino County. EVWD is also recognized for its commitment to sustainability, water conservation, and innovative resource management solutions that help ensure a reliable water future for the region.

Summer internships provide students with the opportunity to gain real-world experience, develop professional skills, and explore meaningful career pathways. We are proud to support programs that connect emerging talent with industry leaders dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities.

Thank you to the East Valley Water District team for investing in the next generation of professionals. We look forward to seeing the growth, contributions, and success of your newest interns throughout the summer!

Westminster’s 8th Grade Exit Interview event was a powerful reminder of how bright the future truly is. With industry partners from a wide range of fields engaging with students, it was inspiring to hear about their dreams, accomplishments, and career aspirations.

From future engineers, surgeons, and musicians to a student-athlete with Olympic ambitions, the talent was incredible. One standout student even won a national competition for a biomedical 3D printing research project! These students are already making an impact, and their potential is limitless. 🚀✨

California’s investment in youth apprenticeship programs is an encouraging step toward expanding access to meaningful career pathways.

As workforce needs continue to evolve, apprenticeships and work-based learning opportunities can help bridge the gap between education and employment—especially for young people who benefit from hands-on experience, mentorship, and industry connections.

This latest funding announcement reflects a growing recognition that talent development starts early and that equitable access to career opportunities strengthens communities, employers, and local economies alike.🌟🤝

🔐 The future of cybersecurity talent is shifting toward skills-first pathways — and this new initiative from the Department of War is a major example of that momentum in action.

The newly launched Cyber Registered Apprenticeship Program (Cyber RAP) is designed to accelerate hands-on cyber training, expand non-traditional talent pipelines, and strengthen national security through real-world workforce development. 🚀

As organizations across industries rethink hiring and workforce readiness, programs like this show how apprenticeships can play a critical role in building the next generation of mission-ready talent.
