A huge thank you to Cygnet Theatre for generously welcoming our students to see SpongeBob SquarePants, The Musical! 🎭

One of the highlights of the day came after the show, when the cast returned to the stage for a special Q&A session. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, learn about the performers’ journeys, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to bring a production like this to life.

Experiences like these help expose our students to new opportunities, spark creativity, and build confidence. Thank you to everyone at Cygnet Theatre for making this memorable day possible!

🎓 Announcing the 2026 A Bridge for Kids College Scholarship Recipients 🎓

This year, A Bridge for Kids awarded $20,000 in scholarships to outstanding students across San Diego who have demonstrated resilience, academic excellence, and an incredible commitment to their future.

At ABFK, this is about more than financial support.

For many students, college represents unfamiliar territory. Navigating applications, financial aid, housing, and campus life can feel overwhelming without the right support system in place.

That’s why we work to remove barriers through mentorship, tutoring, college tours, technology access, wellness programs, and long-term guidance designed to help students not only get into college, but thrive once they arrive.
