Founded 1986. Water Safety is a top priority and the SFBA provides education and training to help keep SF Bay Area sailors safe.
The SFBA is dedicated to the preservation of launch Access, promotion of water Safety, and development of Community for San Francisco Bay Area windsurfers, kiteboarders and SUPers. Since 1986 the SFBA has worked to preserve launch access and improve launch conditions to our many treasured sailing sites all around the San Francisco Bay. Our volunteers are passionate about boardsports and strive to build a strong and supportive Community.

Sherman Island Expression Session and Demo day is Today!!
It’s been nuking all night and hopefully will not drop too much today and then pick up for the Expression session. Either way it will be a fun community event. Good way to see all the new gear from the manufacturers/ sponsors as well as see old friends and meet new ones in the wind crew!
Lots of BBQ and swag plus too many amazing raffle items to list.
