We're celebrating another amazing group of doula graduates! 🎓✨
There are so many inspiring stories that we wish we could share every single one. So, today, we introduce our newly graduated - Heather Harper 🥳
Our doula training combines evidence-based education, trauma-informed care, strong community support, and transformational coaching skills—because today's birth professionals need more than information. They need the ability to empower clients, foster confidence, and support meaningful, positive birth and postpartum experiences.
Congratulations to our graduates. The families you serve are fortunate to have you by their side. 💜

✨ What if a single opening prenatal session could help you map your client’s needs, strengths, and challenges?
Many birth professionals spend weeks getting to know what matters most to their clients. But with the right coaching framework, you can uncover valuable insights in just one conversation.
At Birth Coach Method, we use the Wheel of Bringing Life and the Wheel of Life After Birth to help expectant and new parents explore key areas of their childbearing journey.
These powerful coaching tools help you:
✨ Identify your client’s biggest needs and concerns
✨ Discover their existing strengths and sources of resilience
✨ Uncover hidden challenges that may impact their experience
✨ Build trust and deepen your relationship from the very first session
✨ Create a clear roadmap for meaningful coaching conversations
Rather than focusing only on birth plans or education, these sessions help clients gain clarity about their desired experiences, what's already theirs, and what's missing so they can achieve them.
These sessions result in a clear pathway, greater confidence and agency, and client-centered support throughout pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
Join our fall cohort to learn how to use these coaching tools—and many others—in our Transformational Perinatal Coaching program.

One of the most powerful tools we teach at our perinatal coaching program is how to activate mirror neurons.
Mirror neurons are part of how we naturally attune to one another — they allow us to “feel into” another person’s emotional state through presence, tone, facial expression, and relational safety. In other words, before a client fully processes your words, their nervous system is already responding to you.
This is why relationship is not a “soft skill” in perinatal coaching — it is the intervention.
When a client feels truly seen, safe, and emotionally held, their nervous system begins to regulate. From that regulated state, they gain access to clearer thinking, deeper reflection, and a greater sense of agency in their choices during pregnancy and birth.
This is where coaching becomes transformational: not by giving more information, but by creating the relational field in which insight, confidence, and embodied trust can emerge.
For perinatal coaches, this means your presence is as important as your tools. And for clients, it means that being in a relationship with a grounded, attuned coach can directly shape their experience of pregnancy, birth, and decision-making.

By expanding into transformational coaching, you create meaningful impact before labor even begins while building a more sustainable, respected, and financially viable practice.
These sessions allow you to be compensated for your expertise while helping clients reduce unnecessary hours of labor support through meaningful, transformational prenatal work.
By increasing clients’ confidence, clarity, emotional preparedness, and sense of agency before labor begins, you create a deeper impact for families while building a more sustainable and fulfilling practice for yourself.

Have you been pouring your heart into battling external systems—questioning cultural norms, challenging hospital policies, and advocating against unnecessary interventions—in the hope of protecting your clients and changing the culture of maternity care?
What if you could step out of that exhausting struggle and into a new kind of freedom?
While these efforts are deeply important, they often overlook one essential truth:
True agency and autonomy are cultivated from within.
When you learn to facilitate this inner transformation—guiding clients to explore their fears, shift their perspectives, and take ownership of their desired experiences—you no longer have to carry the weight of constant external battles alone. Instead, you create meaningful and lasting change for both your clients and yourself.
Especially now, when insurance is paying you to lead impactful and meaningful perinatal sessions, we invite you to join the Fall cohort of the Transformational Perinatal Coaching program.
This is where profound transformation happens—and where your work becomes even more impactful, sustainable, and deeply fulfilling.

Last weekend, Corrine and I spent a beautiful and inspiring time together in Boston. It was a weekend of friendship, deep connection, and affirmation of my vision for the next generation of doulas.
Corrine Morse became a Birth Coach Method Doula Trainer in the Boston area last year. Her stepping into leadership is a meaningful reminder that doulas are not meant to quietly disappear after years of serving families.
We are meant to become the guides, teachers, mentors, and legacy builders for the next generation.
If you've spent years supporting births, advocating for families, and navigating complex systems, your wisdom is too valuable to stay limited to hands-on support alone.
The next generation of doulas needs your guidance.
Your insight.
Your lived experience.
Your leadership.
And we have everything you need to move from Doula Practice to Teaching Legacy with the Birth Coach Method.
Your career does not have to end in burnout.
It can evolve into legacy.
Join us in shaping a new era of transformational birth support.

"I’ve worked hard to prepare, but the thought of losing control, not being heard, or being pressured into decisions makes me really scared."
Sounds familiar? Do you know how to resolve it prenatally?
When this fear is left unspoken, it doesn’t disappear—it often shows up in labor itself. Not as words, but as physiology, behavior, and decision-making patterns that can disrupt the birthing process.
Unspoken distrust can show up as:
⚡ stalled labor
⚡ resistance or withdrawal
⚡ rigidity in communication or choices
⚡ difficulty engaging in the decision-making process
This is why skilled prenatal coaching matters.
It’s not a space for venting, complaining, or reinforcing fear—it’s a structured conversation that transforms fear into clarity, agency, and autonomy.
A doula’s role is not to deepen the divide between families and the medical system. It’s to help clients, before labor begins, build a grounded sense of autonomy so they can stay connected to themselves and participate in their care with confidence.
Our Birth Coach Method trains birth professionals to lead these prenatal coaching conversations using clear structures, practical models, and coaching exercises that actually work.

“Birth is happening to me.”
Feels overwhelming.
Something to endure.
“Birth is happening through me.”
Feels connected.
Something to participate in.
One state contracts; the other expands.
✨ From enduring → to co-creating
✨ From fear → to engagement.
Birth plans can be written to perfection, but the "to me" state will sabotage them.
And that shift can transform not just the birth, but the way a person meets themselves in it. Their identity.
This is the kind of inner shift perinatal coaches can gently guide our clients toward
not by forcing positivity or denying the hardship of labor.
But by expanding their relationship and response to what’s happening through them.
Join our Fall cohort and learn how to facilitate this profound shift.
