Yesterday’s RAAC Academy Father’s Day BBQ & Game Day was filled with laughter, conversations, delicious food, friendly competition, and meaningful memories shared between families.
As I looked around the room, I was reminded that education is about so much more than academics. It’s about building a community where children feel supported, families feel connected, and everyone knows they belong.
One of the most humbling moments for me was seeing members of our RAAC family choose to take home a copy of Empowering Echoes. Knowing that my personal journey may encourage someone else to keep moving forward means more than I can express.
To every family who attended, shared a meal, played a game, took home a book, or simply spent part of your day with us—thank you. ❤️
Together, we’re creating more than classes and events.
We’re creating memories, relationships, and a community that lifts one another up.

Happy Father's Day to all of the amazing dads, grandfathers, and father figures in our RAAC Academy family!
Today is a reminder that some of life's greatest lessons come from those who believed in us before we believed in ourselves.
This Father's Day is especially meaningful for me as I continue to miss my own dad. His love, strength, and encouragement helped shape the person I am today, and his legacy lives on through the work we do at RAAC Academy and through the pages of my recently published book, Empowering Echoes.
Whether you're celebrating with family or remembering someone special, may today be filled with love, gratitude, and meaningful memories.

What sparks their curiosity today???
The child who spends an hour building a rocket may discover a passion for engineering.
The child who experiments with art may uncover a gift for creativity.
The child who asks a hundred questions may be developing the confidence to become tomorrow’s innovator, entrepreneur, scientist, or leader.
Childhood should be filled with opportunities to create, explore, build, experiment, fail, try again, and discover what makes them light up inside.
This summer, I hope more children get the chance to experience learning not as worksheets and memorization, but as hands-on adventures that inspire imagination, problem-solving, and confidence.
Because sometimes all it takes is one exciting project, one encouraging mentor, or one unforgettable experience to change the way a child sees themselves.
Let’s continue raising curious thinkers, creative problem-solvers, and kids who believe they can achieve amazing things.
