A look back at some of the final masterpieces created in Mrs. Bleak’s art class this year 🎨
Throughout the year, our students explored creativity through color, texture, line, imagination, and inspiration from famous artists. From learning about Picasso and Georgia O’Keeffe to experimenting with warm and cool colors, every project gave students the opportunity to express themselves in unique and meaningful ways.
We loved seeing our students’ confidence and creativity grow with every piece they created. ❤️
Thank you, Mrs. Bleak, for helping our students discover the joy of art and creativity this year!

This year, our students had meaningful opportunities to connect with the community through service, outreach, and special partnerships. Through our visits with Sunrise Senior Living, students formed genuine intergenerational friendships that brought joy to both residents and students while teaching valuable lessons about compassion, empathy, and connection.
Students also benefited from our partnership with the Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office, building positive relationships with local law enforcement and gaining a greater appreciation for service, leadership, and community involvement.
These experiences helped our students grow not only as learners, but also as caring and engaged members of the community.

Celebrating Our Community
Many of our cherished traditions brought our school community together this year, creating memories that will last long after the school year ends. From Grandparents & Grandfriends Day and the Living Rosary to Catholic Schools Week, Fun Paint Afternoons, Trunk or Treat, Field Day, and the annual 8th Grade vs. Faculty Volleyball Game, these special events provided opportunities for students, families, and staff to connect, celebrate, and grow together.
These traditions help make Blessed Sacrament Catholic School more than just a school. They help create the close-knit community that our families know and love. ❤️

There is nothing more meaningful than hearing from the families who make our school community so special.
We are incredibly grateful for the kind words, support, and trust our families continue to share about their experience at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School. From faith-filled learning and caring teachers to lifelong friendships and strong academics, we are proud to be a place where students are known, supported, and encouraged to grow.
Thank you for being part of our community and for allowing us to be part of your children’s lives.

It's not too late to enroll for the upcoming school year! 📚

Last week, our Blessed Sacrament community gathered together to celebrate and honor Mr. Penn as he prepares to begin a new chapter after 13 incredible years as principal of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School. ❤️
Throughout his years of leadership, Mr. Penn helped shape our school into the faith-filled, welcoming, and thriving community it is known for today. From supporting our students and teachers to fostering traditions, service, faith, and friendship, his impact on Blessed Sacrament will be felt for years to come. He has been a steady and caring presence for so many families, and he will be deeply missed.
As he steps away from administration, Mr. Penn is looking forward to reconnecting with the heart of why he first entered Catholic education, teaching. We are excited for him as he returns to the classroom at Judge Memorial Catholic High School, where future students will be blessed by his wisdom, faith, and passion for education.
He is also looking forward to spending more time with his family, especially his new grandson, and embracing this special season of life.
Thank you, Mr. Penn, for your years of dedication, leadership, kindness, and love for our school community. Once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat. 💙

Today we welcomed our friends from Sunrise Senior Living to Blessed Sacrament Catholic School for a very special visit! They brought treats to share with our students, but more importantly, they brought smiles, laughter, and joy.
We have loved building such a meaningful connection with Sunrise this year and have truly cherished all of the visits and time spent together. It was so special to have them come help us end the school year with us.
Thank you to our friends at Sunrise for the kindness, memories, and friendship we have shared this year. ❤️
