Most of us love singing songs with the most powerful sound we have
But sometimes singing a heavy belt is not the right approach
There’s nothing wrong with belting, unless your body says that you can’t
Feeling tired
Being off pitch
Scratchy or raspy voice
Pain or strain
Nodules
That’s where learning to mix comes in handy.
And for those of you that feel like your voice is stuck and cannot access more out of your singing, that’s where learning from a teacher comes in handy
So if this sounds like you, let’s work together

Yes you CAN sing. Singing / Songwriting / Performing for artists that want to do it all. Sandy Utah and online I help YOU find your voice.
Through healthy vocal technique, songwriting and learning to perform with confidence!
Bass? Baritone? Tenor? Alto? Soprano?
Who cares?
Can you sing through your entire range with comfort, power, consistency, ease? Or does your voice break when you go for higher notes?
This is what matters. And when I say entire range, I mean more than just an octave. Because I have yet to meet a person that only had 8 notes in their range.
So if you can't access more than 8 notes, you need a singing teacher.

For legal purpose, I teach people to sing 😝
but really, people pay me to have them do weird stuff in front of me
And they keep coming back, over and over 😝
I love my job!!
So if you’d like to make weird and embarrassing sounds and pay me for it….let’s work together

We all have artists who we think sing like angels. And we wish we could sing like them!
But at the same time, you want to sound like yourself. Not just be a copy cat
It’s a fine line to balance, and that’s where getting the singing teacher can be very helpful
So let’s work together
Share this with your singer friends!
Walking out on stage without a plan, is not the best approach for people with nerves.
Professional singers have planned out EVERY move months in advance. So why shouldn't you?
I promise it will not ruin your creative flow to have a plan. It will actually allow you to focus more on the song and the audience experience if you aren't worried about where you should be looking, or moving on stage
But it does take practice. It is a skill that has to be developed
If this is something you struggle with, let's work together
Breath support….
As a singing teacher, breath support is not something that I’m always looking at when you come into my studio for lessons.
Getting a teacher can help you figure what might really be happening in your voice
So let’s work together
Have you ever practiced your singing at home and those high notes feel amazing?
But the second you start to sing in front of people, the notes….disappear?
Yeah, it’s not always the singing. Sometimes it’s the stress. The stress that your brain makes up about what might go wrong.
But yeah, it also might still be your technique. Which is why we work on both in lessons.
Confident and vocal technique

Some songs are more than just songs
They remind us to speak up, stand taller, take chances and trust ourselves a little more
These are five songs that have inspired women to take a space, own their voice, and stop, apologizing for being who they are
Which songs would you add to the list?
Most people who think they’re tone deaf… aren’t.
True tone deafness is actually pretty rare. What I see far more often is someone who never learned how to match pitch, hear musical patterns, or coordinate their voice with what they’re hearing.
Those are skills.
Some people pick them up quickly. Some need more guidance.
Neither means you can’t learn to sing. 💙
Most singers spend hours working on their voice and almost no time learning how to use a microphone.
Then they wonder why they don't sound the same on stage.
The mic is part of the performance, not just something you hold.
So, if your vocals and your performance are two things you need to work on, then you come to the right place. Let’s work together.
