As yoga teachers, we spend years refining our cues, our sequencing, and our understanding of a single pose.

Yet most of that wisdom disappears at the end of class.

What if one pose could become your legacy?

Pose for a Cause is a new YOGI TIMES initiative that invites yoga teacher worldwide to represent one pose through a beautifully designed editorial feature shared with our global audience.

Your favorite pose becomes:
• A permanent feature on YOGI TIMES
• A way for students around the world to learn from your experience
• Visibility through our social channels and newsletter community
• A backlink to your studio, retreat, teacher training, or website
• A contribution to a yoga-aligned charity, with up to 15% of every participation donated

This is an opportunity to become the teacher associated with a pose you truly love and teach.

One pose.
One teacher.
One contribution.
One lasting impact.

Would you want your favorite pose to become part of this collective?

On International Day of Yoga, we are not celebrating perfect poses.

We are celebrating the teacher who keeps showing up, year after year, offering patience, presence, and wisdom to every person who walks into the room.

We are celebrating the student stepping onto a mat for the very first time, perhaps uncertain, perhaps curious, but willing to begin.

We are celebrating those who have carried yoga through decades of change. Those whose practice has moved with them through joy, grief, illness, parenthood, ageing, heartbreak, and new beginnings.

Yoga may enter our lives as movement, but for many of us, it slowly becomes a way of listening. A way of breathing through what we cannot control. A way of returning to ourselves when life pulls us in too many directions.

To every teacher who has devoted their life to sharing this practice, thank you.

To every person discovering yoga today, welcome.

And to everyone who continues to return to the mat, quietly and imperfectly, we are grateful to be part of this journey with you.

Happy International Day of Yoga.

True wellness is not only what strengthens the body.
It is also what steadies the mind.

The real balance is found where nourishment, clarity, rest, movement, and meaning begin to meet.

What helps you feel truly well lately?

One pose can do more than teach alignment.

It can share your voice.
It can support a cause.
It can help students around the world discover your way of teaching.

Pose for a Cause is a YOGI TIMES initiative featuring yoga teachers through the poses they love to teach, with part of each participation supporting a meaningful charity.

One pose. One teacher. One impact.

Every pose has a story. Yours could be next.

Yoga was never meant to be a performance.

You don’t need to be flexible, ultra-fit, or already “good” at it to begin. You only need a body, a breath, and a willingness to listen a little more closely.

Let these myths go. Your practice has room for you exactly as you are.

Today’s setting: presence ON, autopilot OFF.

Notice your breath.
Feel your feet.
Unclench your jaw.
Come back from wherever your mind has been wandering.

A conscious life is often one tiny switch at a time.

Wherever you are today, be there completely.
Not perfectly. Not performatively. Just fully enough to feel your own breath, your own body, your own rhythm.

Yoga begins in the moment you stop rushing past yourself.
