🌱 Members Matter! 🌱

A huge thank you to the members who take time out of their day to help keep our grounds looking great. Whether it’s mowing the lawn, pulling weeds, or lending a hand around the Squadron, your efforts make a big difference.

Many hands make light work, and we appreciate every volunteer who helps keep our club beautiful. Thank you for showing that Members Matter! ⛵💚 Especially on the hottest day of the year! 🥵🔥

Warm, gregarious, and insatiably curious, John travelled extensively and was deeply committed to his community through board and executive service supporting Mote Marine Research Laboratory, the Sarasota Opera, and the Sarasota Sailing Squadron, his home base for sailing and where he served as a commodore. He was also instrumental in the support and operation of the Sarasota Sailing Squadron Youth Sailing Program.

What a fantastic day at the Sarasota Sailing Squadron as we officially christened our newest American 18, Short Sail! ⛵️🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for the celebration. It was wonderful to see so many members come together to welcome this beautiful addition to our fleet.

Fair winds and following seas to Short Sail and all who sail her. We look forward to many years of adventures, lessons, races, and memories on the water!
