It's a pleasure to meet you! My name is Heidi Carlson, founder of Heidi Carlson Coaching. And when the struggle is with our mother, the impact is exponential.
Mother Wound Coach | Empowering Women to Heal Generational Trauma, Overcome Self-Doubt & Reclaim Their Voice & Power—For Themselves & The Generations That Follow I'm a Certified Master Life Coach specializing in relationships, particularly Mother-Daughter dynamics. I passionately guide women to heal their struggle and build thriving relationships. At age 19, I dove into self-discovery and personal
growth work: therapy, coaching, and then various growth programs, including The Gottman Institute, The Life Coaching School, and later, The Elementum Coaching Institute where I graduated among the top percent of my class and earned my master life coach certification. Raised with dedicated, loving parents who had an unhealthy relationship and numerous marital struggles, I knew early on I had a lot to learn about relationships, including the dynamic w/my mother—a person whom I adored and owed my life to. Through my journey, I mastered the art of transforming relationships, including the relationship with myself, my mother─ with everyone in my life. In 2021, amidst COVID, I ended my three-decade Corporate Marketing career to pursue my life’s mission and become a life coach. I graduated from a rigorous nine-month coaching training program and have helped hundreds of people heal relationship struggles─ resulting in life changing outcomes. When we encounter relationship struggles, it can significantly impact our health, well-being, and mindset, affecting every area of our lives. If we choose to ignore the struggles, assume they'll go away, they instead escalate & worsen, and take an even greater toll on us. And if you are a parent, it’s "crucial, and your duty” to model healthy relationships for your children, allowing them to distinguish healthy patterns and behaviors from unhealthy ones that they might otherwise inherit. Working with clients, I customize each session to meet their unique needs. I offer both one-on-one and small group coaching, providing a compassionate, non-judgmental space where each client instantly feels seen, understood, and comfortable. And for businesses: I provide workplace (employee) coaching, do speaking engagements, and relationship workshops.
“Heidi helped me with all my relationships. She helped me understand why I get triggered and helped me create new ways of responding in my relationships. Now I know how to show up differently and create deeper/richer relationships. Heidi transformed my life.” - Ivan Tran

Excited to facilitate an interactive coaching conversation for the entrepreneurial women of WEBiz Collective in Issaquah this Friday.
We'll be exploring a topic that is all too common among women entrepreneurs:
Imposter syndrome.
Not as a confidence issue, but as an inherited pattern that can quietly impact visibility, self-trust, leadership, growth, opportunities, your sense of self, and overall business success.
Many women assume these struggles are simply part of entrepreneurship.
What they often don't realize is that these patterns are connected to something deeper beneat the surface.
Together, we'll explore where imposter syndrome patterns often come from, how they impact women in business, relationships, and leadership, and what becomes possible when awareness surfaces.
My favorite part of these events is watching women connect the dots in real time. This is where clarity, relief, and a deeper understanding of themselves begin to emerge.
Interested in an interactive coaching event or workshop?
I help women entrepreneurs connect the dots between the patterns they're experiencing today and the deeper influences that may be driving them. As their awareness grows, so does their ability to lead, make decisions, set boundaries, trust themselves, and create success from a place that feels more aligned and sustainable.

One of the biggest misconceptions with women in business is that challenges like self-doubt, overthinking, visibility hesitation, overdoing, and difficulty setting boundaries are simply confidence issues.
Often, this is not the case.
At INSPIRE 2026, hosted by the Washington Center for Women in Business, I had the opportunity to speak on how inherited generational patterns quietly impact the way women show up in business, leadership, relationships, motherhood, and life.
The most meaningful part wasn't presenting. It was watching women realize that many of the struggles they had carried for years weren't random flaws or shortcomings, but patterns that could finally be understood.
This level of awareness occurred in a 45-minute breakout session.
Awareness doesn't change everything overnight, but it does bring clarity to the root of our repeated struggles.
And when we understand what is driving our patterns, we create the opportunity for greater self-understanding, inner peace, and alignment.
We also have the opportunity to begin breaking the cycle.
If you're experiencing repeated struggles in your business, relationships, leadership, motherhood, or life and are ready to understand what may be driving them, I offer a 90-minute Clarity & Breakthrough Session.

I’m so excited to share that I’ll be speaking at INSPIRE 2026 ✨
I’ll be leading a conversation on The Invisible Inheritance of Generational Patterns and how these patterns quietly shape how we show up in business, leadership, and life.
This work is deeply meaningful to me, especially when it comes to supporting women in understanding themselves on a deeper level and expanding what they believe is possible for their lives and leadership.
If you’re a woman in business, leadership, or building something of your own, I would absolutely love to see you there
