Marcela's journey is a testament to what can happen when dedication, perseverance, and a positive attitude meet consistent hard work. Over the years, she has grown from a brand-new student into a leader, role model, assistant instructor, and now a fully credentialed Shodan.

This rank represents years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication. Today they had the honor of moving their Nafuda name cards up to their new rank—a special moment that reflects just how far they've come.

We're incredibly proud of their effort and excited to see what they accomplish next on their karate journey! 👏

🥋🎉 Get ready, Emerald City Karate! We're marching and performing in the Greenwood Seafair Parade on Saturday, June 27 at 6:30 PM!

We'll be practicing our parade routines in class over the next few weeks, and they're simple enough for even our newest students to participate. Lil' Dragons can join the fun too by helping pass out candy along the parade route!

We'll also need volunteers to carry banners, hand out water, manage breaking boards, and help make this our best parade yet.

✨ Come to class, learn the routine, and be part of something special!
