Earlier this month, we gathered as a community to celebrate our newest alumni. We laughed. We cried. And we listened as each of our graduates took the stage to share what Perkins has meant to *them*. It was an inspring and emotional evening.

Class of 2026 - We are incredibly proud of you, and we can't wait to see what you do next!

The past month has been one celebration after another (concerts, plays, presentations, and more!). But nothing says *summer* quite like WATER DAY.

Have you seen this year's Fifth Grade Legacy Project? This gorgeous mural will be the centerpiece of our new music room! What a wonderful way for the Class of 2026 to leave their mark on our school and inspire future generations of Perkins students.

Perkins takes over the Emerald City Pirate Ship!

The Perkins crew set sail in search of treasure, adventure, and maybe just a little bit of mischief. After all, it turns out that bravery, curiosity, empathy, and joy make a pretty great pirate code.

Thanks to the amazing crew at Emerald City Cruises for helping our young pirates make waves and memories they'll be talking about all summer!

It's nice having a big sister at recess... especially when you take a tumble.

The broken hula hoop on our playground was a bummer... for about two minutes. Then, it became the springboard for an impromptu investigation into the way sound waves travel through tubes of different sizes.

Our thanks to the folks at IslandWood for an incredible week! We hiked, made music, foraged for edible plants, climbed a canopy tower, crossed a suspension bridge, went on a night hike, explored the harbor, and so much more!
