PNB School Performance is this weekend! 💫

At PNB School’s annual School Performance, our students take center stage at McCaw Hall. From Level I all the way up to our Professional Division, dancers will showcase their dedication, talent, and growth. We can’t wait!

Dancers Level I and up will perform works by PNB School Faculty members, excerpts from Kent Stowell’s Swan Lake, new works by Eva Stone, George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco, and excerpts from Balanchine’s Vienna Waltzes. Music for Concerto Barocco, Vienna Waltzes, and Swan Lake excerpts will be played by .

We said goodbye two absolute legends of PNB and ballet as a whole at last night's Season Encore celebrating the illustrious careers of Elizabeth Murphy and Lucien Postlewaite with a one-night-only affair where Elizabeth and Lucien dazzled the packed house in some of their favorite and most memorable roles.

PNB's own Associate Artistic Director Kiyon Ross is featured in The New York Times!

Ross is premiering a new work, "Proof of Light," at The School of American Ballet's Workshop Performance on June 6th and 8th. He is the first black choreographer to do so. Gia Kourlas shares, "The students feel the joy, and they love his joy, especially as he looks, just as [Peter] Boal and [Twyla] Tharp did, for the light in each of them."
